Semifinal Matchups Set Following Pool Play at 2025 CAC Women’s Volleyball Championship

An exciting day of pool play matches have set up the semifinal round of the 2025 Continental Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball Championship Tournament, being hosted by Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas.

CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL

No. 6 seed Westcliff University (California) began the day by upsetting top seed Florida National University and later followed with another match victory to capture top honors in Pool A of the tournament.

No. 2 seed Florida College was also victorious in its two Pool B matches to claim another semifinal spot. The Falcons swept No. 5 seed Haskell Indian Nations before closing out Friday's action with a 3-0 triumph against No. 4 seed Simpson University (California).

Florida National secured a semifinal spot as the runner-up of Pool A by rallying from a 2-1 deficit to post a win against No. 3 seed Carolina University (North Carolina). The Conquistadors defeated the Bruins 15-13 in the deciding set.

Simpson advanced in the last match of the day, sweeping Haskell Indian Nations.

The semifinal matches will feature a battle of California teams with Westcliff and Simpson facing off on Saturday, November 15, at 1 p.m. Then, the second semifinal is a battle of Sunshine State teams as Florida College battles Florida National at 3:30 p.m. All times are central time.

The winner of each semifinal will play for the league title at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Those two teams playing in the championship match will earn CAC's automatic bids to the NAIA national tournament.
