Florida National Sweeps Final CAC Women’s Volleyball Weekly Awards for 2025 Season

Student-athletes from Florida National University have collected all three of the final Continental Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball Player of the Week awards for the 2025 season.

Sophomore Kitula Amaya Morales, the Attacker of the Week, helped the Conquistadors earn runner-up honors at the 2025 United States Collegiate Athletic Association Division I Volleyball Championship last weekend. The Miami native tallied 57 kills and 49 digs through four matches. She also had five service aces.

Senior Ivette Sandoval, the Setter of the Week, recorded 72 assists to go along with 26 digs at last weekend's tournament in Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania. She averaged nearly five assists per set.

Meanwhile, junior Ariana Long, the Defender of the Week, posted 54 digs and had six aces to go along with 42 kills to round out a strong all-around performance as Florida National had a 2-2 record in the tournament.

Florida National is one of six teams that will compete in the 2025 CAC Women's Volleyball Championship Tournament beginning Friday, November 14, at Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas.
