Georgia Gwinnett College’s Jarvis Headlines 2025 CAC Softball All-Conference Team

Georgia Gwinnett College's Annalise Jarvis has collected the 2025 Continental Athletic Conference Softball Player and Pitcher of the Year awards to headline the all-conference team announced on the eve of this year's championship tournament.

In other specialty awards, Brianna Lopez-Cortez of Simpson University (California) was named Newcomer of the Year, GGC's Casey Beaver was Freshman of the Year, while the Grizzlies' Kat Ihlenburg was Coach of the Year.

Jarvis is among the NAIA's top pitchers with a 0.78 earned run average and 215 strikeouts. She has a 20-2 record, with five saves, and 10 shutouts in 32 appearances inside the circle.

This is the third straight year that the right hander has received Pitcher of the Year award.

Lopez-Cortez led the CAC with 36 runs batted in and she was second with a .415 batting average and seven home runs. The infielder appeared in 41 games for the Red Hawks.

Beaver leads the Grizzlies with a .385 batting average behind 52 hits while having 34 stolen bases. The outfielder scored 34 runs and drove in an additional 15 runs during the regular season. Beaver has started 41 of the 43 games she has appeared in this season.

Ihlenburg guided GGC to a 40-8 record, No. 6 national ranking and the top seed in the 2025 CAC Softball Championship Tournament, which is scheduled Thursday, May 1, through Saturday, May 3, at the Grizzly Softball Complex.
