Freshmen Garner CAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week Awards

Georgia Gwinnett College freshman Ousmane Fall and Fisher College (Massachusetts) freshman Alejandro Granados have earned the Continental Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week awards.

Fall, the offensive honoree, scored a pair of goals in the No. 15-ranked Grizzlies' 4-0 win against Florida National University, a team receiving votes in the latest NAIA Top 25 poll and previously undefeated after three CAC matches. He tallied five points as GGC won two matches at last weekend's CAC Classic. The Dakar, Senegal, native found the back of the net in the 14th and 53rd minutes of last Saturday's match. He also provided an assist in GGC's 6-0 win against United States Sports University (Alabama) last Thursday.

Granados, the defensive recipient, showed off his offensive skills by scoring three goals and providing two assists in leading the Falcons to a pair of victories. The Guayaquil, Ecuador, native registered a pair of goals and two assists in an 8-0 win against Vermont Tech last Thursday. He found the back of the net once in a 5-1 triumph against Plymouth State University (New Hampshire) last Saturday.
