CAC Announces Men’s Soccer Players of the Week

Strong performances by Georgia Gwinnett College sophomore Djordje Djurasinovic and Bellevue University (Nebraska) freshman Stanley Richardson have earned the Continental Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week honors.

Djurasinovic, the offensive recipient, scored the most goals in a match since GGC's 2012 inaugural season when he found the back of the net four times during a seven-

minute span midway through the second half of last Saturday's 9-1 win against the University of

Pikeville (Kentucky). These goals also mark the first of his 24 collegiate matches with the Grizzlies. All four of Djurasinovic's shots resulted in goals in the match. The Belgrade, Serbia, native helped the team score six second-half goals and pull away from a 3-1 halftime advantage.

Richardson, the defensive honoree, helped the Bruins post their sixth shutout of the season in last Saturday' 2-0 against Oklahoma City University. The Ipswich, England, native recorded an assist in the victory. The defender managed to anchor a defensive unit that allowed just six shots on goal across two matches for the week.
