Wiley University (Texas) freshman Anthony Ulloa and Georgia Gwinnett College junior Dagoberto Romero have been named the Continental Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Conference Players of the Week as the 2024 regular season hits the home stretch.

Ulloa, the offensive honoree, recorded his second hat trick of the season to lift the Wildcats to a 5-3 victory against fellow CAC opponent Talladega College (Alabama) last Saturday. The midfielder put Wiley on the scoreboard in the 11th minute. The Houston native added goals during the 56th and 65th minutes to extend the team's lead. Ulloa ranks second in the league with seven goals scored for the season.

Romero, the defensive recipient, posted GGC's first shutout since September 2 by making six saves in a 4-0 home win against Thomas University (Georgia) last Saturday. He also picked up a victory at West Virginia Tech last Wednesday. For the week, the Lawrenceville, Georgia, native recorded a pair of wins that brought forth his ninth victory of the season. The goalkeeper had a .778 save percentage and a 1.00 goals against average while playing all 180 minutes.
