Talladega’s Lawrence, Bellevue’s Ganga Named CAC Men’s Soccer Players of the Week

A pair of seniors have been recognized as the Continental Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Players of the Week.

Talladega College (Alabama) Tavar Lawrence has been named the Offensive Player of the Week award while Bellevue University (Nebraska) Taariq Ganga is the Defensive Player of the Week.

Lawrence set a school and conference record with eight goals in the Tornadoes' victory against Oakwood University (Alabama) on Sunday. His eight goals are the third most in NAIA men's soccer history.

Ganga had 10 saves and allowed only one goal in a pair of road draws last week. He posted his second shutout of the season against the University of Science & Arts (Oklahoma) last Saturday.
