Carolina’s Spillane-Davis, Wiley’s Bonilla Named CAC Men’s Soccer Players of the Week

Carolina University (North Carolina) senior Luke Spillane-Davis and Wiley University (Texas) sophomore Melvin Bonilla have been recognized with the Continental Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week awards.

Spillane-Davis, the Offensive Player of the Week, scored a goal and had an assist in a 3-0 triumph against St. Andrews College (North Carolina) last Wednesday.

The forward attempted three total shots across two matches for the week, with his only shot on goal finding the back of the net. The London, England, native has helped the Bruins to a 3-10 record in their first NAIA season.

Bonilla, the Defensive Player of the Week, made four saves against Texas Wesleyan University last Monday. The goalkeeper from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is tied for second in the CAC with 12 saves so far this fall.
