Florida National’s Burdon Named CAC Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week

Florida National University freshman Khy Burdon has collected the Continental Athletic Conference Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week award.

The Orlando native had two record-breaking performances at the Embry-Riddle Running Elements Classic last Saturday. Her 100-meter hurdles time of 15.04 is the best in program history and her time of 25.99 in the 200-meter dash is a personal and school best in the event.

Her performances this weekend led the CAC in both events.
