Our Lady of the Lake Takes First-Round Lead in CAC Women’s Golf Championship
Three consistent rounds have led Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas) to lead after Monday's first round of the 2025 Continental Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship at the Paradise Pointe Golf Complex. The tournament is being hosted by Haskell Indian Nations University (Kansas).
Our Lady of the Lake compiled a 327-stroke score and leads University of Victoria (British Columbia) by 14 strokes heading into Tuesday's final 18 holes of the tournament.
The University of Houston-Victoria stands in third place with a 345 team score, while the University of the Southwest (New Mexico) has a 370 score and Spartanburg Methodist College (South Carolina) is at a 406 score.
Ceci Lattuada led OLLU with a first place five-over-par 77-stroke score among individual golfers. She made a pair of birdies during Monday's first 18 holes of play. Teammate Kendall Ward carded a nine-over-par 81 score to stand in third place. Grayson Weiler rounded out the team's strong first-round performers with an 82-stroke score, tying for fourth place honors.
Victoria's Cindy Koira paced the Vikes with an 80-stroke score to stand in second place. Brynne Davies is tied for fourth place with a 10-over-par round.
