Underclassmen Garner CAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Awards

Arkansas Baptist College sophomore Zaccheya Jackson and Florida National University freshman Maria De Gracia have earned the Continental Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week awards after having strong all-around performances.

Jackson, the offensive honoree, scored 25 points after making 12-of-14 field goals in an 88-73 victory against Williams Baptist University (Arkansas) last Saturday.

De Gracia, the defensive recipient, recorded five steals and grabbed seven rebounds to go along with 14 points in a 62-48 win against Trinity College of Florida last Saturday. Her strong play helped the Conquistadors win their third consecutive game.
