Top 25 Finishes Lead to CAC Cross Country Runner of the Week Awards

A pair of top-25 finishes have had Haskell Indian Nations University (Kansas) junior Dyami Berridge and Florida National University sophomore Lismar Bentancourt receiving the Continental Athletic Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week awards.

Berridge, the male recipient, placed seventh out of 123 runners at the Larry Young Invitational in Columbia, Missouri, last Friday. The Winnebago, Nebraska, native covered the 8-kilometer course in 26:32.

Bentancourt, the women's honoree, paced the Conquistadors' effort with a 25th-place finish at last Friday's St. Thomas University Bobcat Invitational in Miami Gardens, Florida. The Valencia, Venezuela, native completed the 6-kilometer course in 25:47.
