Spartanburg Methodist’s Carr Earns CAC Men’s Golfer of the Week Honor

For the third straight week, Spartanburg Methodist College (South Carolina) freshman Lane Carr has garnered Continental Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week honors.

The Medina, Tennessee, native tied for 11th place at the Trailblazer Spring Invite hosted by North Greenville University at the Cherokee Valley Course and Club in Travelers Rest, South Carolina.

Carr posted two rounds in the 70s to card a 176 composite score. He had a birdie in each round and closed out the tournament with a five-over-par 77-stroke score to lead the Pioneers in the invitational.
