Spartanburg Methodist’s Carr Garners CAC Men’s Golf Weekly Honor

A second place finish among a strong field of competitors has had Spartanburg Methodist College (South Carolina) freshman Lane Carr being named the Continental Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week.

The Medina, Tennessee, native carded a five-over-par 147 score after 36 holes of play in the Pfeiffer Colonial Shootout last Monday and Tuesday at the Colonial Country Club in Thomasville, North Carolina. He closed out the tournament with a one-over-par 72 score.

Carr's performance helped the Pioneers share fourth place team honors.
