Spartanburg Methodist’s Carr Garners First CAC Men’s Golf Weekly Award for 2025 Season

Spartanburg Methodist College (South Carolina) freshman Lane Carr has began his collegiate career by collecting the Continental Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week award. This is the first weekly achievement for the 2025 season.

The Medina, Tennessee, native tied for 10th place at the Sherman B. Smith Memorial. He shot a one-under-par 71 in the second round behind three birdies.

Carr began the tournament with a 74-stroke score after carding four birdies during the first round.
