Seniors Collect Season’s Final CAC Men’s Basketball Weekly Awards

Florida National University senior Cameron Johnson and Georgia Gwinnett College senior Manny Montgomery have collected the final Continental Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week awards for the 2025-26 season.

Johnson, the offensive honoree, averaged 21 points in the Conquistadors' final two games. He posted 28 points in an 86-68 win against the University of Fort Lauderdale (Florida) last Thursday. The Miami native grabbed eight rebounds in that contest. The guard began the week by tallying 14 points in a setback at Fort Lauderdale last Monday.

Montgomery, the defensive recipient, recorded six steals and averaged 4.3 rebounds as the Grizzlies closed the regular season with three victories. The guard averaged 12.3 points per contest. The Bloomington, Minnesota, native had 16 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and had two steals in a 93-73 win against Voorhees University (South Carolina) last Monday. He closed out the week by scoring 16 points with two more steals in a 94-57 victory against Carolina University (North Carolina) last Thursday.
