Alice Lloyd’s Anderson, Florida National’s Salazar Named CAC Men’s Basketball Players of the Wee

Leading their teams to victories, Alice Lloyd College (Kentucky) senior Koji Anderson and Florida National University junior Anthony Salazar have been named the Continental Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Players of the Week.

Anderson, the offensive recipient, was exceptional in leading Alice Lloyd to three wins over the course of three consecutive days last week. The Louisville, Kentucky, native had 28 points, with 11 field goals, in a 91-86 win against Grace Christian College (Michigan). The guard also had 20 points and seven assists in a 91-76 victory against Great Lakes Christian College (Michigan). For the week, Anderson averaged 22.2 points while making 54.2 percent of his field goals in four games.

Salazar, the defensive honoree, recorded 10 rebounds and four blocked shots in the Conquistadors' 124-70 rout against Trinity College of Florida last Tuesday. The Miami native also contributed 12 points in 24 minutes of playing time in the game.
