Duo Share First CAC Men’s Basketball Players of the Week for 2026

Georgia Gwinnett College senior Drew Kramer and Carolina University (North Carolina) freshman Tristan Kuska have been named the first Continental Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Players of the Week for the 2026 calendar year.

Kramer, the offensive honoree, scored a school-record 27 points as the No. 24-ranked Grizzlies had an 87-78 victory at Bryan College (Tennessee) last Saturday. He made six 3-point field goals while shooting 61.5 percent from the floor. The Lakeland, Florida, native scored 12 straight points midway through the first half as GGC took a 32-14 lead in the team's first game of 2026.

Kuska, the defensive award recipient, averaged 14 points and 6.5 rebounds while helping the Bruins to allow an average of 75.5 points in both games of the new year. The Braunschweig, Germany, forward guarded opposing players at several positions on the court. He helped the team lower its defensive average by seven points per game prior to the holiday break. Kuska had 15 points and seven rebounds in a 76-73 loss to Columbia College (South Carolina) last Wednesday.
