Jasmine Hernandez, Softball

Washington Adventist University (Maryland) sophomore Jasmine Hernandez has been named the Continental Athletic Conference softball Pitcher of the Week.

She went the distance inside the circle in a 4-2 victory against Notre Dame of Maryland University last Tuesday. She scattered five hits and struck out three batters in the game.

The Bellflower, California, native has a 2-2 record for the season and has tossed three complete games among her four starts in six appearances. Hernandez leads the Shock (10-12) in strikeouts and innings pitched for the season.
