Westcliff University (California) senior Sara Ellerton was named the Continental Athletic Conference Softball Hitter of the Week on April 20, 2026.

Ellerton went 3-for-5, including a pair of doubles and a home run, as Westcliff posted a doubleheader sweep against Hope International University (California), a team receiving votes in the latest NAIA Top 25 poll. The catcher’s homer came in a 5-4 triumph that completed the sweep last Saturday. Ellerton drove in three runs during the doubleheader.
