Danny Gonzalez, Baseball Hitter

Carolina University (North Carolina) senior Danny Gonzalez was named the Continental Athletic Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week on April 13, 2026.

Gonzalez was a consistent force at the plate for the Bruins, hitting five home runs and driving in seven runs while batting .467 during the week. He had multiple home run games in both games of last Saturday’s doubleheader sweep against CAC member Fisher College (Massachusetts). The Puerto Rico native also hit a pair of solo homers as part of a 3-for-3 performance in the series finale. Gonzalez had an impressive 1.533 slugging percentage while tallying extra-base hits in three of the four games last week.
