Edwin Cisneros, Men's Soccer Defensive

Bellevue University (Nebraska) junior Edwin Cisneros was named the Continental Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week on August 26, 2024.

Cisneros provided an assist on the Bruins’ game-winning strike in the season-opening win against Doane University (Nebraska) on August 15. The Omaha, Nebraska, native helped the team post a shutout in that match.

The midfielder has been a part of a defensive unit that has yielded just 12 shots, with only five shots being on goal so far this season.
